How to disable VaM backculling?

I'm using rooms from daz3d. The designer usually only make walls one side, no thickness. In vam it causes backculling, and the light just shines through the wall. Is there a way to solve this without needing to edit the geometries to add thickness.

Add wall atoms behind them in VAM?

You gotta understand that backface culling and double sided shadow casting is both a material and a mesh property/setup.
There is no "it causes back culling"... the behavior of most material is always back culled unless specified otherwise. Double sided materials have more overhead.

Unless you edit the asset itself or create a plugin specifically thought to edit these properties, there is no way to access these with vanilla VAM.

Single face meshes are made for optimization purposes. The trick of using shadow casters ( wall/planes/boxes ) behind the enviro or specific spots is something done on a daily basis on any game. Don't hesitate to use that trick.
