Today I opened VAM and the resolution is totally different from what it used to be. Now everything is super close up and squished into the center. There's a black border around the menu now where before it was filling the entire screen. I'm not sure how to fix this problem as it just seemed to happen randomly. Has this happened to anyone here before? And does anyone know how to change the resolution of VAM to regular / default? I'm using the 1.22.3 version here.

In general VaM is using your desktop resolution. There's no resolution setting in game.

You can use the "VaM (Config).bat" to switch settings. However, it requires to launch the game once (in VR mode) for the settings to be actually applied. That's somewhat stupid if you want Desktop mode, so it's easier to setup your own .bat files using command line parameters. Resolution and Fullscreen vs. WindowMode can be set easily with that.

IK it's an old thread, but it's also first thing in google after searching that, so I will leave a tip for anyone searching for exactly the same thing.

left alt + enter = window mode
Resize the window until you can't make it any bigger
L alt + enter again, fullscreen should be in full resolution now.
You can make the window any size, so you can lower the res as well, if needed.
