There is a short instruction in the plugin to name my character "guy1" (There is also a problem with this because I cannot change the name of the character from the "orient express" scene) and to enable "merged load scene" from the plugin. I tried it on my own character and unfortunately a second character appears with "easy cum". Could someone advise me how to do it, I'm new to virt a mate and I'm a bit lost

I tried to change the name and I can't, I would have to save a new scene. Recently, I even changed every file with the character name in the var file and it still didn't help

No, The window on the right side doesn't even appear when I click "CustomUnityAsset". Maybe you could try renaming the npc "Matthew" to "guy1" without saving a copy but overwriting the existing var file. I've tried many methods and I can't do it.

Dude, "CustomUnityAsset" is used as a example on how to change the name of any atom, in your case you want to change the name of the person atom so adapt accordingly.

You can't overwrite the contents of a VAR from VaM because you can't do it. A VAR is a zip file, and the only way to overwrite contents of a zip file is with a zip handler liek WinZio, 7zip, WinRAR, etc. Also, that's not what you want to do anyway, if you want to save a local copy of the scene for reuse use the red button in the UI.
