New build and need help so I can share results.

Pmax crystal super headset

Pmax play has openxr built in and can bypass steam according to what I see. To bypass steam I switched settings in pmax app to openxr. However it does not work and only displays in 2d. Searching (AI) shows 15 different versions of how to fix it. None work.

Anyone using a pmax crystal or running primax play?

Im curious to see if a higher end pc w high end headset will make vam worth while. Or go back to meta 3 and go from there. Also w quest is Virtual Desktop better than using (meta app) link for fps increase?

Running VaM without SteamVR requires replacing/patching the game's "openvr_api.dll" with an OpenComposite version. The guide below explains it a little in the "Using OpenComposite" section. FYI, if the "VaM (OpenVR).bat" doesn't work after doing this, try launching VR from "VaM_Updater.exe" instead.
