Question Has anyone tried VAM with the RX 7900 XTX?

Been waiting to buy a new rig for a long time, and to play this sim among other VR titles. I got my hands on a 7900 XTX and the headset is in the mail. In the meantime, I have been reading about VR basically not working on the 7900.

A bit concerning. I know it's brand spanking new, but has anyone had any luck with the 7900? I'd return a get a 4090, but not willing to pay scalper prices. Was lucky enough to get a 7900, I'd hate to give it up now.

This is obviously not VAM but it shows that RX 7900 xtx doesn't perform to well in VR right now. Most likely the same in VAM

Hmm interesting. I didn't even thing about there being an issue with VR.

I am thinkng to get an upgrade and the 7900 xtx seems good, but not really posted or experiences. Is this VR issue affects desktop mode aswell? Since vam itself is for vr originally I could image both scenario.
