Going, Going, Gone

Plugins Going, Going, Gone

Hi, thanks for the great plugin, and sorry if it has been addressed before, but what about hair transparency? I have something planned involving "ghosts", and as it is now, they would all need to be bald :(

Totally different kettle of fish, and I don't think the hair shader has an alpha parameter. Have you thought about controlling hair width?

Hey @HAL9001!

If you're still around my ol' amigo, just now trying the option to create our own masks and in testing your default mask (or mine own) they seem to leave line gaps.

In this example I'm using the lower body group, per image

Initially I was using the NorthernShikima.SkinMircoDetail8 plugin with tessellation but as a test removed it and with or without tessellation, I still have gaps

Am I missing something or is there a way to use the masks with tessellation with no gaps at the top/bottom of the mask texture?

Thanks!

mfw I didn't update from 5 and was trying to drag and rapidly click the "OFF" for toenals and feet for like an hour :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

Tessellation (automatic bodysmoother or HS subsurface scattering tessellation option) creates these when you have that bodypart alpha masked.
Alpha mask turns off those features on selected bodypart. Even if you remove the tessellation, it won't get instantly fixed, the body will look worse.

I just entirely skipped using bodysmoother where I use alphas. It's not just this plugin, its all alpha plugins.

If you look carefully your butt looks blocky as hell compared to other bodyparts so pretty sure its the same scenario on your end aswell as what I deducted.

Simple reason: VaM does not have an in-built shader that does tesselation AND Alpha, so it's either/or.
