MrGiggly submitted a new resource:

G-Strips - Set of modular 'strip' heels

G-Strips are a set of modular shoes built from scratch in Blender.
They are split into parts and have multiple material slots, allowing you to mix and match designs.

For now, 2 sets of heels and one upper is included in the pack. Additional uppers may follow :)

Note: Morphs that affect feet will distort shoes!
They can be scaled using VAM's built in 'Foot Petite' morph

Included are a number of clothing presets.

As an addition to these, I know you stated you might add more variations, would you be interested in making some different boot styles? Something like these if I can try to upload a photo...

Thanks MrGiggly, really appreciate you finding a way to bring transparent heels into VAM!!!

Can you share how to use the Clothing re-wrapper plugin to operate high heels

Hi,
I've already done some short boots like the above. Have you checked those out?

Great piece.
I really like the transparent effect, but I can't seem to find a transparent version of the preset.
Then I tried to adjust the transparency myself, and I found that it would produce black and white grids,

but I didn't see the same situation as mine in your preview. I would like to ask, is there a way to make them disappear?

@MrGiggly Hi Giggly! Great new setup, love these heels.
Couple minor things I noticed:
  • CUA presets are not referencing the packaged asset bundle but local files. They wont work unless you update them to reference the assetbundle in this package.
  • The Low heels seems to have a bit of distortion with morphs. I know this is to be expected, but all of your other heels look perfect on the same model, including the high version in this resource.
  • The colliders for the heeladjust2 preset for the High version is a bit off, colliders should be slightly longer.
  • Lastly, these are amazing!!!

Thanks Bill - I'll take a look

MrGiggly updated G-Strips (Female & Futa) with a new update entry:

Female low heel distortion correction & CUA preset fix

Corrected an issue with low heels (female) distorting with only minor foot morph changes that didn't affect high heels.

Fixed the CUA presets incorrectly referencing local files instead of assets within the VAR
(Open the VAR with a zip program e.g 7Zip, open the included presets zip and extract contents to your VAM root folder)

Thanks to Bill_Prime for flagging the above.

MrGiggly updated G-Strips (Female & Futa) with a new update entry:

New uppers added for Female & Futa

Reworked my old 'Adore' boots to take advantage of the new heels and heel adjust.
They will show up as an additional 'uppers' option and can also be used for Futa.

As usual, they include some texture presets and multiple material slots.

'Foot Petite' morph should work fine with these up to about 25%, after that they will start to distort.

Apologies for all the recent updates. Will be the last for a while unless I broke anything :)

Hi there, I was wondering if there was a way to download the zip file with the presets for the G-STRIP shoes ?
I am unable to use CUA since it doesnt detect any presets. On your previous G-PUMP collection, when I clicked on download, there was a .var file and a zip file with presets. However on the current G-STRIP clothing, there is only the .var file.

Could you look into it please ?

Thank you !

Hi there,
Var files are just zips so you can open them up with a zip program (eg 7Zip)
Inside the var you'll find another zip file containing the presets.

Make sure you have the latest version of g-strips as there was an error with the cua presets in the first version.

I've done it this way as the hub no longer allows zip uploads separately.

Further instructions including what other plugins are recommended are already on the front page down near the bottom :)
