I'm trying to toggle the UI bar with 'F1 key to toggle' but it doesn't work, and I've never been able to get it to work.
Anyone else have this problem, or have a solution?

Thanks

Yeah, coincidentally. This is a fresh install, since about a month ago.

Maybe your keyboard defaults to some other actions on the F-keys, and you need to press Fn + F1 to actually execute the F1 key.

I did think of that already. Do I have to only be running in Desktop mode for this to work?

The UI is controlled over the VR controllers in VR. I don't know what F1 would be helpful for besides desktop mode.

Pressing M will enable the desktop view on the desktop monitor when in VR, and the desktop UI features should work in that view

Yup indeed. I still don't see the point lol.

If you're in VR, you don't need it. If you're in VR and want to check out something on the monitor, then it should work. Unless there's definitely something broken in their release.

EDIT: Since there was the question "does it work only on desktop mode", I suspect monitor wasn't even in the equation.

Yeah I was using desktop, with monitor on. I just asked to open the discussion for possible solutions.
Update; yeah I tried every mode and keyboard trick, F1 still doesn't work.
FYI: this is a fresh install.

Just tested it and F1 works fine on my end when the destktop view (M) is enabled in VR mode. No idea what the issue might be. Are you sure it works on your end when launching VAM in desktop mode?

Nevermind, I'm retarded. Had Keytweak mapping to something else on that key.
Thanks.
