VamTastic submitted a new resource:

Eye and Jaw morph fixer - by Highlander

As many users may use Facegen and find the eye balls are messed up
i decided to upload the file to Mega ,as some users have trouble accessing it from Sharecg
just put the file in the folder where your Daz character is and start the morph fixer.

you just have to bare in mind that it does a good job at fixing the eyes,
that the eyes need adjusting in blender or there...

The Eye & Jaw Morph Fixer will correct warped morphs exported from tools such as FaceGen Artist or HeadShop for Daz Studio 4.x.

Tools like FaceGen Artist or HeadShop can create realistic face morphs, but they may warp the eyes, jaw, and tongue in the process.

This tool will zero out the morph deltas for the eyes, jaw, and tongue, so they...

trying to fix someones model with warped pupils but this tool doesn't seem to have any effect. Trying to avoid redownloading daz, should these steps work or am I doing something wrong?

1. extract modelname.dsf from var, input morph file
2. input genesis2female.dsf under female data file
3. options: fix eyes
4. replace modelname.dsf in var (using winrar)
5. open scene

HI sorry i'm late ,you seem to have correctly used the fixer , as in this image
if you want to package it back up as a var , make sure the file is of the same name as the original that had the pupil problem ,you may have done this.
eg. i have a morph character joe.dsf and extracted it from a var , get morph fixer to fix the eyes then save as joe2 , when finished with the morph fixer, change joe2.dsf back to joe.dsf
and overwrite the old one with fixed version . inside the unpacked var folder select everything, then change the .zip to .var in the Archive name . when saved , take the new var file out of the old unpacked var folder .

Hello.

First, thank you for this program.

I tried it, after trying to port a character from DAZ to VAM. It's a DAZ Genesis 8 Female model, ported to VAM (Genesis 2 Female). The guide I followed worked, technically I do have the final result in VAM.

I followed this guide to a T, I don't think I missed anything:

However, the Eyes (Eyeball, Pupil, Iris, etc) is extremely distorted. This program was recommended from one of the comments in the discussion. So I tried it, and it only works partly. I check the "fixed" Morph in VAM (after using this program to fix the Eyes only) and the Eyes of the model are technically fixed (I.E., they are now the default proper-shape G2F base Eyes mesh, nothing is distorted anymore).

BUT...

The Eyes (the "fixed" Eyes in the VAM scene) are not "linked" to the character model anymore. So the Eyes stay there floating in the air if I move the character. Is there a step I didn't understand? I'd like to fix this problem please, thank you.

Hi BstarG2 , that is very strange . i have had no issues with the eyes ,
but then i have'nt tried using the fixed file from Morph Fixer in vam , export the fixed model from daz as an fbx and using blender to resize and move the eyes in position .
then import back in to Daz as an OBJ and using morph loader pro to create the new morph of the model
because the fixed eyes return back to the dafault G2F, the eyes end up being offset and the wrong size , i know this can be done in vam ,but its nice to fix it without other morphs using blender.
the other issue with wrapping a G2F to G8F is it distorts the eyelashes , tears and Lacrimals . not sure if there are vam morphs that fix it.
