Is there a setting to mute the error log popup when the UI is up? I don't think I had this issue before or perhaps I am just now really noticing it but the error/message log strip that pops up next to the UI sometimes goes away and sometimes does not. It is a bit annoying in VR when trying to tweak things and it constantly pops back up covering whatever I am trying to edit. Some plugins like Pornaway's RealGaze, (repackaged by Dragontales), generate lots of messages and errors so it never really goes away. It would be nice to mute it.

I think the correct approach would be to either fix the errors or not use the plugins generating them ;)

lol, yes, that would make logical sense :) I was hoping I missed a setting so that I can mute it for a time, especially when I already know the errors being thrown. I love the combination of Glance and your gaze however I use Realgaze for testing as it is extremely fast to setup and get running. This also applies to messages though. For example when the unchained plugin changes the number of links it logs it as a message. I can disable that in the code however I am not sure that is the right thing to do. Anyhow, if its not possible then it is what it is!

Arrrg... You are completely right, but... ;)

Unfortunately for many of us those error messages have grown to a magnitude, so that fixing them all would be extremely unpleasant. A very dangerous combination are users like me, who are collecting a lot stuff, plus have reached a more experienced state to be less carefull or to put things into question, plus are too lazy to solve the resulting issues. ;)

For instance: A nice scene I would like to try out but with dozends of dependencies that I really don't want! No need for that unoptimized 300 MB skin or those ugly clothings, I will use my own stuff anyways... BANG: some more error messages.
As you may know, I was one of those being skeptical when it came out, and I am actually in a process of disliking the "new" sharing system more and more.

It is very likely that this is resulting from me and others are not completely understanding it, or don't use this "in the right way". But IMHO a good tool should take this into account.

Please ignore my little rant, because I admit that this system is still better than what we had before. But... ;)

IMO the problem is that the var system introduces huge piles of completely non-critical errors that are safe to ignore and a pain to fix. So people just aren't paying attention to errors at all anymore.

We need an "ignore missing dependency errors" toggle switch.

Agreed, I was thinking of the same thing reading this thread!

The only (very small) downside would be that some creators may think "people could ignore this anyway" instead of trying to fix some bad packaging...
