Plugins + Scripts DiviningRod

Althogh, I have seen a review claiming it supposedly also worked on a Dildo (with a lot of error messages), I don't think it actually does. At least I've tried it with the built-in dildo and it definitely didn't work.

The plugin relies on the rigidbodies: "pelvis", "Gen1", "Gen2", "Gen3", and the free controllers: "penisBaseControl", "penisMidControl", "penisTipControl" to be present, which it controls and a dildo doesn't have.

Though I guess a simpler version of the script, which just aligns an arbitrary object's main control towards a target wouldn't be that hard to write. Maybe I'll do that one day, as well (or not... ?).

At least at the moment I am quite busy working on yet another plugin, which I also hope to be very useful in the future. However, it is something completely unrelated...
Did you ever try to do this?
Do you think it would be possible to instead make a dildo object that was compatible? So one that has those rigidbodies?
 
Anyone else having issue with the plugin to stop working after reloading scene? I have to renable the male checkbox everytime i load up a saved scene...
 
I've tried putting this on a futa. I'm trying to get it sort lines up with the camera. So you can do a VR bj. I can't get it to work for some reason any ideas?

I am having a heck of a time with DiviningRod in my latest scene. I've run into an issue where DiviningRod seems to be switching back-and-forth between the PenisBase rotation being "On" and being "On and Comply." Normally, this probably wouldn't be an issue, but my trouble is that I need the PenisBase rotation control added to Timeline for some end-scene stuff. The only way I can see to get around this "battle for control" is to leave the controller on and hand-animate the penisbase on my own, but that sort of defeats the purpose of using DiviningRod altogether. I love the plugin and use it in pretty much all of my scenes, but this one has really got me scratching my head.

Can anyone think of a way to have my cake and eat it to? (Check out the check boxes in the gif below to see what I'm talking about!)

I... just noticed that ToumeiHitsuji hasn't logged into her in four years. Haha, I guess I will keep throwing stuff at the wall to see what sticks.

DiviningForeskin claims to be a spiritual successor. I haven't really tried it, though, just thought I'd let you know.
Thanks! I ended up trying that and another solution, and while I might be able to try those out in new scenes, they didn't really integrate well in this one with how far along it is.

My solution as of yesterday was too unpack the DiviningRod package into the custom scripts folder and modify the .cs script file a little. Thankfully,
ToumeiHitsuji added very nice comments in the script, so it was easy to understand the code and track down what I needed to change. Specifically, the script knows when the penis is "inside or outside" a vagina/anus/etc by the triggers that are activated when something is inserted. When the script notes that the penis is no longer inside, it defaults the rotation controllers for the base/mid/tip of the penis back to "On/On/Comply," in that respective order. When the penis is inside, all three rotation controllers are set to Comply.

My workaround for now was to change the base/mid/tip to "Comply/Comply/On" when the penis outside, which allows me to set the base to "On" in Timeline when I need to, without it getting totally funky every time the penis is outside. When I release this scene, I will just include the customized script in the package itself and credit ToumeiHitsuji as I always do!
