VaM 1.x Dependencies Not Being Found

Since a few weeks ago, whenever I install resources and they require dependencies, they won't show up on the updater in VAM while this used to work fine before. It doesn't just say "dependency not found", it won't show up at all. This causes maps or hair etc to not load.

Could this be due to having too many resources installed (ie. 100+) and a new install being needed or could this be due to another issue?

Not about quantity but with something breaking the scanning process, like a corrupted VAR file, or some chinese look VAR that has paths in chinese characters and VAM can't make sense of them, etc.

Basically, you need to examine all the vars you downloaded since a few weeks ago, when it started. If a var won't open in 7Zip, it's corrupt. Delete it and try to download again. If as Atani suggests, you see Chinese characters in the file paths, delete or move that one out of the Vam folder to see if that fixes the problem.
