Deleting older VAR versions

Sorry about that. These problems can be "onions" with layers to work through. Try upgrading your version of Powershell: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/po...powershell-on-windows?view=powershell-7.1#msi. Also, check out the other requirements in the .RTF file.

Ok, I upgraded and now I get this still:

ParserError: C:\Apps\VAM\_2a iHV_Util_RationalizeVARversions.ps1:236

<' operator is reserved for future use

If you search the script for either < or >, you'll see that neither appear. The content in the error looks like file content, which is odd since the script doesn't open any files - it enumates through file names only. And you can't have < or > in a file name .

If you're open to it, would you create a new folder outside of VAM and place the script and a single .VAR file into it. A .VAR file that's conventional - with a name like Dev.scene.1.var. Run the script and let me know if you see any errors.
