VaM 1.x DAZ Import posed clothing?

I am trying to import some shoes/heels that are posed in DAZ, and when they import the toe is messed up because VAM is expecting Gen2 t-pose flat feet.
I know about the stopper rewrapper trick for heels, but what about the toe straps etc. that get messed up?

Paging @MrGiggly , I think you have dabbled in this stuff as well?
