To All Fellows,

What other programs to create environments; including buildings, rooms, stages, outdoor areas, landscape, etc.?

Then after is complete & import to Vam1 or Vam2!

I recall there being a slightly later version of Unity that (maybe?) had more probuilder support and I know it had more shader support and the assets made from it still work in VAM. If I remember or if someone knows what I am talking about please let me know. I even forgot the name of the author I learned this from. Maybe the author with the roman initial name...

I forgot to mention. I use Vue, been using Vue since version 5. Bad news is it is being sunsetted. Good news is it has been made totally free even the previously very expensive maya/c4d integrations. Makes great Skydomes, HD light setups, the works. Fairly straightforward to put what you make in to Unity from there.

You can always start with SketchUp.

If you want to mash together free assets you find the best solution always has been and still is the free version of meshmixer. The paid corpo version of it is called Fusion but it really is not necessary.

All are free but are still arguably the best at what they do and are fairly simple if you've used any 3d program before. Sketchup doesn't get much simpler.

I clicked on your Meshmixer.net link and got some unwanted virus warning pop ups. I use Firefox browser and seemed to have got rid of them by clearing its cache and cookies.

Even with ublock and browser blocking turned off it seems fine... you can get it this way too :

Yeap, to confirm, no problem on my end too. this is apparently safe. It's a false positive.
