Im trying to select a specific range of Keyframes in a timeline animation to loop separately.

How specifically do I select this range of Keyframes, move it into another animation and also have it loop which likely requires the animation to play once forwards and again in reverse.

Secondly, how do I splice two such animations together? I see operations for bulk copy but I don't know how to paste it separately..

Thanks!

Much easier way would be to create a full copy of your animation, and then trim it the way you want using "Split at scrubber position",
then you can copy it again, reverse the key frames, and use "Merge with next animation"

I think you can port animations made using the built-in animation tool into the Acidbubbles Timeline plugin. In that plugin, you can do exactly what you're describing
