Question Can you read the Cache/Textures Directory?

Lost some original data and noticed files in the Cache/Texture files can you load these into photoshop or are they encrypted?

These are converted textures, probably you can't unless you know in detail what is done. I don't.
Make sure to keep frequent backups to not have this happen again.
