BrowserAssist v1.29.0 Update

New Features:
  • New Timeline Import option (Patreons Only) to import and play Timeline animations directly from Scene files. This will replace any existing Timeline plugins on the target atom. Some errors may be reported by the Timeline plugin - due to dependencies on Atoms in the source scene which dont exist in the current scene. Feature works best on simple Timeline setups (e.g. VAMTimbo animations) rather than from more complex scenes.

Hello !
I wanted to upgrade from BA .54 to BA .60. I´m getting the following error message:

An unexpected error occured during BrowserAssist startup relating to loading of the BA stored meta data (e.g. Tags etc). To preserve the integrity of that data, BrowserAssist will not operate until the issue is resolved. Previous backups can be restored from the Plugin UI to resolve this issue. If no valid backups are available then please report the issue to JayJayWon on Discord.

Do I maybe need to run the batch file again ?

Unfortunately, I didn´t know about the backup option. What can I do ? Many thanks for any help in advance !

I tried deleting several tags with possibly the same name, but it didn't work. I deleted the entire BrowserAssist and reinstalled it to solve the problem. I also backed up the files, but I'm not sure if there's a better way.

Hey Jay, I was curious if you would add a feature as a comission? I want to be able to move selected assets/scenes/appearances to a specific folder.
Can this be done somehow?

Jay - was the ability to delete multiple VARs removed? I'm using v61 and I don't see that option any more.

No shouldn’t have been. There is an option in the plugin settings to enable it so that maybe needs setting?
 
I'm excited to use this tool to import all audio from an exiting scene to a new scene. This isn't as straight forward as I'd like as there is the audio source and associated triggers. Is anyone aware of a guide that walks you through this process for a first timer?
 
Jay - one thing I think could be useful is a 'random' or 'shuffle' sort option.
The reason is, because I have 10K+ scenes. And if I want to load one I've never loaded before, or just find stuff I forgot I had; sorting using A-Z or by Package, or by NEW, tends to repeat the same order. I feel like theres a huge number of assets + scenes that I rarely see unless I specifically navigate 10 pages into a specific author or whatnot.

That has been requested before and is on my list - but its not as easy to implement as it might sound. I'll give it some more thought at some point!
 
Can I ask; why isn't "hair" resource available in the browser plugin? It would be awesome to have :)

hello. is it possible to add button for scene tab: Overvrite with no new screenshots, there is such a button for hair,clothing,apeareanc
 
is there a way to call this from a UI button? Say for instance I want to click a button on a menu in scene to pull up only appearance presets, clothing, or whatever and this pulls up the plugin UI for just those?
