This asset had a brutal vibe to it and it had these scones on the walls that didn't light up in Unity.. So i made new ones that each had a point light parented to it.. There's 24.. Are there any recent light fixes that make this process less tedious and a little friendlier on performance?

No there is none.

VAM runs on forward mode so the light count is limited and there is no frustrum culling so they're pretty much active all the time.

Also, for that specific purpose, you would never use lights, but bake that. It's borderline useless to have overhead for a light that will probably cast no shadows and have pretty much no impact on close objects (at least for the 4 shots after the first one).

I'll have to revisit Baking the Lights within the actual asset then. I tried that once before and I'm not sure what went wrong... :)

It's simply a unity scene ^^
It's not that hard (but you gotta grab Bakery, the native baking system is abysmal in Unity 2018)
