What is the best way to transition scenes without causing anything to break in the timeline. If I have my model moving from one side of the room to another in the next animation/segment whats the best practice for doing so.

  • In your segment, always have a startup animation (that can be 0.5 or 1sec without animation)
    • Store a pose in that startup animation (at the place you wanna be)
    • Check "apply pose on transition"
  • Have that start animation play your animation next in the sequence
  • Fade out/in when you transition (if you want)
  • Play the segment upon a trigger/button/interaction
