Hello there, I have a lot of addons and it needs some organizing, but I did not find necessary functions in few manager apps. Maybe anyone knows a manager which have it.
I wanted to work on animations in my scene and move almost all unused vars to different directory to disable them, but keep all needed dependencies and session plugins.
Would be nice to have an ability to select scene or list of scenes in custom directory to work with them. Session plugins are always enabled. And some favorites would be helpful.

For example, I can enable all addons, setup characters and rooms, then disable all unused plugins and work faster on animations with less memory impact.

Plugins, tools, assets, have pretty much no impact on memory. In that set, the only exception is assets, where obviously, would have an impact on VRAM if loaded/used in the scene.

The only thing that slows VAM down are morphs and anything that "builds a library" (clothes, hairs, morphs). And even then, you'd have to hoard a shit ton of content to start seeing a clear and obvious impact on the game.
For scene creation a 150gig install runs perfectly smooth. Which on my end is a "work VAM" (I'm very pragmatic with content I get).

So more or less, if you build a "work VAM", you don't need to disable stuffs to work. That's not like you're gonna get 100% more perf by disabling var files.

Okay, but a have tons of different plugins and I a need tool to disable all unused anyway. I am asking because it is slowing down VAM. If you have a program to automatically disable unused addons, it would be helpful.

Search for "var manager" or anything similar. There are a ton, at some point not so long ago, it was like everyone was releasing their own package manager.
