The Show Active filter is a must-have feature when one has a ton of Clothing or Hair items. Just recently, this function in my VAM installation has started acting weird. Upon initial load of VAM, it functions normally. However, after using VAM for some time (perhaps 15-20 minutes), or after loading a couple a scenes, the function stops working properly. No items are displayed in the browser when Show Active is on. Sometimes, it will show the default clothing items only (even though the defaults were not active).
My question is: where should I start looking to debug this issue? It is getting to be a pain to quit and restart VAM every time this happens.
For the record, my VAM installation is heavily tweaked. I run sfishere's VAR Browser which keeps the majority of my VARs in a separate archive dir. And I move files back and forth between that archive and AddonPackages. And I also run Pesadilla's De-Duplicator AND I use Bill Prime's VAR Manager to prune duplicate clothing items. And coincidentally, I just recently ran JayJayWon's symlink batch file to trial Browser Assists' VAR isolation feature. I deinstalled the feature but this may have contributed to the problem.
Anyways, because of the complexity of my VAM installation, I do not expect anyone to be able pinpoint the exact problem. But I am hoping those who are knowledgeable about the internals of how VAM works (especially the Clothing and Hair browsers) to give me some pointers on where to look to de-bug.
TIA
