    Plugins + Scripts SimpleAudioPlayer

On another subject, I'm gonna help you a bit for the tests : your plugin does not work. Settings are not saved in the scene Folder is not saved in the scene So reloading a scene fails No trigger is available to play the audio automatically No trigger is available to stop the audio I would...

Hi, Looking at the code, you have obviously fed CC licenced content to AI from this community. ( confirmed by this The MacGruber Fix in the code, and several different naming schemes that are well known amongst most prolific coders of the community ) AI coding does not mean you don't enforce...

    VaM2 Next-Gen Clothing Simulations?

This is not for games. Realtime is different than "for games". Realtime means the cloth simulation is realtime, but this doesn't mean that your engine can actually handle more than what you see in this video (sim + enviro + light + interactions + models + anims etc...) To simply reframe it from...

VaM 1.x Vam eat disk C

I'm just saying that the system drive ( 99.9% of the time, C: ) is not just used for screen recording (which also does not mean much because there are 20 different ways of recording the screen). And VAM also writes logs to the C drive without you being able to change that path. This is far...

VaM 1.x Vam eat disk C

Hipper, trying to help is always welcome, but it's also sometimes not useful to not add on top if it's not needed, especially if the information is not really useful or right. C:/ is generally the system drive (ie: windows), anything can be on the C:/ drive, from the system itself, to apps to...

    Guides How to use foto2vam

None whatsoever. Nobody ever made anything more than that somewhat "alpha foto2vam" that never really work very well anyway.

VaM 1.x Playing a sound in a NEW scene

You NEED (mandatory) to have an AudioSource to play a sound (there is no work around that) You can start a sound on any audiosource without ever relying on a plugin and by simply using the Scene Animation and using a trigger in there. If the complexity is just "start a sound", use that technic...

Blender (and obviously implementation in Unity).

VaM 1.x can anyne help me understand these log messages please?

Technically, if the author of the plugin has ensured legacy compatibility. You can keep only the last version : ) Try keeping only the last, if the scenes work then you're good!

VaM 1.x Why are there red lines like this in my frame? Is it a rendering error, or is it being caused by a plugin?

You have asian characters in your paths, this could break VAM's normal behavior. But beyond that, if enabling PM/Lut does that, it obviously tied to it. Now it might be produced by a combination of factors, but finding what is beyond me. If you have that result inside of your base build (the...

VaM 1.x Why are there red lines like this in my frame? Is it a rendering error, or is it being caused by a plugin?

Are you sure that the lut file is available on your version? 'coz if you don't have the LUT file, it might lead to improper computation of the LUT and completely break the LUT pass.

VaM 1.x Why are there red lines like this in my frame? Is it a rendering error, or is it being caused by a plugin?

First try to grab these files, they might be corrupted. Don't have multiple copies of the same var file, don't use sub directories in AddonPackages folder. Can you show me your settings? PostMagic does basic stuffs on the post process and should not lead to that result. What's your GPU ?

    Plugins + Scripts VAMMoan

That's a technical issue in vam's implementation. If you prefer, you can't have two listeners in a scene. (which is on the camera) If you don't prevent this from happening ( by let's say, detect unwanted cameras and remove them or disable them ), the "scene/asset" camera takes over the...

    Plugins + Scripts VAMMoan

Whaaaaaaaaat? HO FUCK. I think I know why. That enviro might have a camera in it, and shifts the listener. Try loading that even, let it at the 0.0.0 position. Add an audiosource and put like a song on it in loop mode. Then try to move the enviro away. If you hear the sound moving then that's...

VaM 1.x Why are there red lines like this in my frame? Is it a rendering error, or is it being caused by a plugin?

You created a secondary install. Without installing anything, tested a quite empty/default scene with a basic enviro and a default character and you still had that?

    VaM2 Idea Development Post – VAM 3D Vam 1-2

VAM 1 will not be updated anymore, I'd suggest making a similar thread regarding "VAM 2 must have/improvements over VAM 1" instead.

VaM 1.x Why are there red lines like this in my frame? Is it a rendering error, or is it being caused by a plugin?

Ensure you're doing it in another folder and not the same one which could probably still produce the effect.

VaM 1.x Why are there red lines like this in my frame? Is it a rendering error, or is it being caused by a plugin?

No. VRAM is a read only kind of thing. This will never corrupt system files. If you changed hardware, especially GPU, use DDU ( Display Driver Uninstaller ) to completely clear the system of any potential drivers. Then reinstall from scratch your GPU drivers.
