Hi Guest!
Please be aware that we have released another critical security patch for VaM. We strongly recommend updating to version 1.22.0.12 using the VaM_Updater found in your installation folder.
Details about the security patch can be found here.
That's not what I meant, (apologize if my point was not clear) basically I want to see the individual morphs details in the morph tab instead of only head morph as an example.
For example I have a look 'XYZ' when you go to morph tab, you will see
XYZ-head
XYZ-body
XYZ-genital
Now I want to...
Hi,
You can't simply replace the eyeballs.
it is possible to repair them, but it's cumbersome.
You can export your all-in-one morph toDAZ3d.
Then you apply the morph to a Genesis 2 figure (don't forget to switch off mesh smoothing).
Export the morphed figure as OBJ.
Edit it in Blender.
Use the...

Daz isnt really used for modelling its more for taking existing assets and models and get a nice render.
Anyone modelling...
this is impossible cuz what happens is the vertex order gets changed so does its structure if even one vertex changes it breaks daz studio from importing it...the best thing to do if you have to change the eyes is keep them intack you can manipulate them all you want but they have to stay...
Hi Harold,
maybe you have read some of my older postings about that. It is not possible to import new person items into V1.x VaM, but only to morph the existing Genesis 2 model in a different shape.
Regarding DAZ: No matter what you do, at the end you will need to have an Genesis 2 morph that...
hey mate, actually I followed a guide: https://hub.virtamate.com/resources/vam-to-blender-to-vam.3759/
but unfortunately, after after creating a face on blender with the face creator, i could not attach the head into a body the proper way, and also got stuck of making a morph in daz.
I feel like...
Its fantastic. Can you please do tutorial on how you do it? I am trying to create earring to have same dangling effect, move a little but not too much by adding bones into beads and diamonds but not able to import in VAM with bones and get this effect.
Most of the earrings we have in VAM, with...
Here are three gags as cloths that I keep meaning to improve and tweak as well as adding a few others that are in various stages of development. I debated whether to release these on the HUB as I don't consider them done however I don't know when I will be able to improve them so here they are...
If you would like to commission a model port (DAZ, MMD, Blender, Koikatsu) feel free to get in touch.
A fairly well received request on the NoOC discord, so sharing.
Includes:
1 x Full Morph
2 x Outfits
2 x Hair (Clothing)
Dependencies:
Hunting Succubus' Eyes...
Yes, it is a bit of a pain to set it up properly. Not only do the different built in skins use slightly different uv layouts, they also have the materials channels split into multiple groups. You can export the model from Daz if you have it, or export an .obj to the root folder from Vam. I...
Hi,
gratulations, that you have found your way.
I didn't know about that CHokapi VaM importer thingy, too.
If you have created a proper morph in DAZ, all you have to do is to locate that .dsf file in the depths of the DAZ folders (I simply made a windows shortcut to that folder once) and then...
I applaud your intentions. As a female I find VAM wonderful for the instant gratification of creating just what you intended there and then with no render times. For me it's about the beauty of the female form and it's so wonderful to be able to create like this with results better than blender...
I am no expert for this:
I once have exported a fully rigged and skinnd/weighted DAZ Genesis 2 figure into Unity. In Unity I was able to see all the bones, but had to re-rig the figure again in Unity, to make it (somehow) work.
From this little experience I would say, you need both - Blender...
Thank you very much for the detailed and quick reply.
but...I have a few questions...
When importing a VAM model into daz, what should be the convert type? (poser, 3Dmax, etc (of size or unit..)) . To do rigging, it seems to have to match the size of the Genesis 2 model... Or should I adjust...
1) 2) For the basic understanding, VaM is using the DAZ Genesis 2 model. So, if you want to prepare clothes, morphs or skins that are not ready-to-use for VaM, you first have to make them fit for DAZ Genesis 2 in DAZ. After this, you have to import them to VaM. (no, no Unity needed for that...
