It overwrites the .obj unfortunately. It will name different ones for different skin setups though, but I think the code to do this is deep within vam. It's probably easier to drag them into a new folder each time and rename them.

People should be more diligent, I agree. However people are dumb and lazy too, so creating a culture where people check the simple information may prove more difficult than popping a banner in their face (or a header in the post window when they click to type a reply to a mummified thread.)

I think that's best. I don't know if applying textures to the clothing in this way would allow you to save a clothing preset, as the gpu texture information could be different next time you load the clothing.

I can get it to work with any custom face textures (I might even be able to do that with a trigger within vam without a plugin), but the built in textures are a no go. The texture path doesn't show anything in game, so I'm assuming vam summons them from the void.
