Thanks for this tip, very usefull for armor as cloth (like shoulder plates)

That would be a perfect example, pick a spot from the upper arm to stick the cloth item to, then you should get a nice shoulder plate 👌🏻

Wow, this is a neat trick :)
Good to know it's possible to make stiff objects as clothing! Not sure I'll make one any day soon but thanks for sharing!

OMG this is exactly the information I've been looking for forever! Thank you for documenting this. Brilliant stuff! However despite looking for a guide like this I completely missed it due to the title of the guide. Something like "Guide for importing custom clothing without deformation by custom morphs" would make it a lot more visible to those with these problems.

The best clothing guide on the hub!! I didn't know how to import clothes at all but this guide helped me import a beautiful knight helmet!! 10/10 guide!

I'm struggling a bit with the rest of the body though, I have no idea how to do it with a chestplate, leggings, gauntlets and heels absolutely no idea if you could help I'd be super grateful!!

This was the method i used to create Eyeball Shadow stuffs, but eye morphs made it lot harder.

Thank you so much for writing this up. I always wondered how you guys get up to this sort of shit. Looking forward to trying this out for myself on some stuff!

Thank you for this guide, this really opened up a lot of possibilities and you broke it down in such a way that made it seem easy enough for even a total beginner to understand

This is super thorough and I understand the concepts, but I'm struggling. I created a relatively basic set of fairy wings, certainly less intricate than some of the actual feathered wings on the hub, but despite following the steps, creating a super-offset vertex on the back and using that for the wings, they always get way distorted. and the tips still get attached to the head's motions. Any advice is appreciated.

Thanks. Years later we still don't have in-game options for rigid clothing items. Darn it.
