I ran into Ellie at the little gaming café near the station. She was sitting in the corner in a short orange floral dress, completely focused on her Switch while battling in Pokémon. Her dark bangs framed her cute face, and the tattoos on her arms (especially the little bunny ones) made her look even more like the perfect nerdy gamer girl.​

When she noticed me watching, she looked up with a shy but playful smile. “You into Pokémon too… or just into me?” she asked, biting her lip.​

Every time I glanced over, she looked up and gave me a soft, shy smile. We kept exchanging looks like that for a while, the tension slowly building between us.​

A few minutes later she pulled me into the empty back room, already slipping the thin straps of her dress off her shoulders. “I’ve been thinking about this all day,” she whispered. “Wanna be my new favorite trainer?”​
