• Happy Holidays Guest!

We want to announce that we will be working at reduced staffing for the holidays. Specifically Monday the 23rd until Jan 2nd.

This will affect approval queue times and responses to support tickets. Please adjust your plans accordingly and enjoy yourselves this holiday season!

  • Hi Guest!

Please be aware that we have released a critical security patch for VaM. We strongly recommend updating to version 1.22.0.7 using the VaM_Updater found in your installation folder.

Details about the security patch can be found here.
RenderToMovie(MMDEditorPack)

Paid Plugins RenderToMovie(MMDEditorPack)

Optimized the default settings for MMD camera motion in VR mode so the view gets properly zoomed.

RenderToMovie Automatically starts and stops with the scene animation also in non-MMD mode. You just need to add RenderToMovie plugin to scene and press the Record button, it automatically starts scene animation and it automatically stops when the animation reaches its end. Two videos will get exported at the end, one with audio and the other(filename starting with "s" for silent) without.
Fixed issue that MMD dance pose remains even when switching to another scene without MMD plugin.

Fixed issue that Supermode plugin doesn't remove correctly when closing a scene

RenderToMovie automatically includes the scene audio into the rendered video also for non-MMD mocap scene animations. It exports two videos, one with audio and the other file name starting with "s"(for silent) without audio.

RenderToMovie captures the visual effects triggered by scene audio into the rendered video also for non-MMD mocap scene animations. There is a great plugin Sally.SallySoundFX with which you can easily set up audio triggers. Audio triggers are typically used to change the intensity of lights to achieve nice light-sound-sync effects like this video.
This version also supports the latest VaM release 1.21.0.4

This version supports rendering videos with visual effects triggered by MMD background music(e.g. light effects triggered by MMD music).

You can create light effects with VaM Audio triggers bound to MMD background music, when you start the MMD dance and RenderToMovie plugin, the light effects will be captured in the video. During the course of rendering, the bacground music sounds very strange because it is drastically slowed down, but it doesn't harm the final rendered result.

This version also supports ogg files as MMD music.

This version also fixed bugs that RenderToMovie doesn't work properly with non-MMD scenes.
MMDEditorPack 4.1.0 updates:

Fixed the problem that in certain cases when SuperMode is added, "Play End" is limited to 100 seconds.

Fixed the problem that recording ends too early in RenderToMovie when music length is shorter than the motion length.

Fixed the problem that in certain cases Record button doesn't respond in RenderToVR

Fixed the problem that in certain cases SuperMode plugin doesn't work propery when reloaded from a saved scene.

FasterVaM supports the case without default scene, i.e. it will show scenes in "AddonPackagesAsync" folder on the scene browser popup. The scenes are however loaded in background and there is also a message indicating the status of background loading.

Note: To enable FasterVaM, you just need to add FasterVaM plugin to any scene and click on the Activate button on plugin UI once. It will create a "AddonPackagesAsync" folder next to "AddonPackages" and move everything from "AddonPackages" into it. The var files in "AddonPackagesAsync" will get loaded in background then. If you want some var files not to be loaded in background but in foreground as default behavior, you can just move them back to "AddonPackages". If you move everything back to "AddonPackages", you disabled FastVaM, the game will not start faster. It is always good idea to find a good balance which var files to be loaded in background and which not.

You don't have to add FasterVaM plugin as session plugin or even save it as part of any scene. You open it just to show the UI and click the button to activate it. Once activated, you don't need to open/load it any more.
MMDEditorPack3.10.0 updates:

RenderToMovie Screen Space Capturing Mode

It was a challenge for various in-game video rendering software to capture screen space effects such as ReShade and RayTracing. Now, Screen Space Mode in RenderToMovie 3.10.0 enables you to render videos with these effects, it captures everything you see on your screen while rendering smooth videos at fixed FPS without requiring high performance hardware.

Tips:

You choose the ScreenSpace mode as shown on attached picture. Since it captures everything on screen, progress bar and UI buttons are automatically hidden. Rendering stops synchronously with MMD dance. If you want to interrupt the rendering manually, you need to press Esc key or Enter key on keyboard. In screen space mode, you can only render videos with the same resolution as your display monitor.

RenderToMovie 3.10.0 also fixes the bug that audio is not automatically composited in some cases.

GoldenPack 3.5.1 updates:

MMDPlayer and RenderToMovie Integration:

If you add both MMDPlayer and RenderToMovie plugins to the same scene:

1. MMDPlayer music is automatically added to the recorded video, no need to use other tools to add music any more. Two videos will be created: one with music and a silent one like before(same file name prefixed by "s")

2. When you start recording in RenderToMovie, MMDPlayer automatically starts playing; When you start playing mmd, RenderToMovie automatically starts recording; When MMDPlayer finishes playing, RenderToMovie automatically finishes recording(when loop is not toggled on).

RenderToMovie UI:

RenderToMovie UI is moved to the top right corner so it will not block system menu any more.
