VAM Plugin: Lighting Default Settings
With this plugin, you can configure how the Light Settings are set, whenever a Scene is loaded. In the default settings, the Ambient Light is increased to 75%, making Scenes generally brighter.
I also changed the slider for the "Ambient Light Intensity": you can now increase the Ambient Light Intensity up to the value 5.0 to further brighten up the Scene.
You could also configure the plugin, so that the Skybox of your choice is shown when you load a Scene.
