Creation Process
Lexi was crafted over the course of two weeks, with careful attention to every aspect of her design. The process involved:- Sculpting and Morphing: Using VaM’s morphing tools, Lexi’s base model was sculpted to achieve a balanced and aesthetically pleasing form. Special focus was placed on creating a natural yet idealized silhouette.
- Texturing: Custom textures were hand-crafted, including diffuse, specular, and normal maps, to give Lexi’s skin a realistic look under various lighting conditions. Subtle details like freckles and skin imperfections were added for authenticity.
- Rigging and Testing: Lexi’s model was rigorously tested to ensure compatibility with VaM’s physics engine, allowing for natural movement and posing. Facial rigging was fine-tuned to support a wide range of expressions.
- Iterative Refinement: Feedback from test scenes was used to refine Lexi’s appearance, ensuring she looks stunning in both close-up and full-body shots.
