• Happy Holidays Guest!

We want to announce that we will be working at reduced staffing for the holidays. Specifically Monday the 23rd until Jan 2nd.

This will affect approval queue times and responses to support tickets. Please adjust your plans accordingly and enjoy yourselves this holiday season!

  • Hi Guest!

Please be aware that we have released a critical security patch for VaM. We strongly recommend updating to version 1.22.0.7 using the VaM_Updater found in your installation folder.

Details about the security patch can be found here.

TL;DR: You can now change the characters names for the story

A big thank you to forum user thisisnotpornography who made a great point about the stories usage of character names. I chose to let the characters address each other by their name to add to the realism in the dialogue but I agree it can take you out of the story more than necessary. Unless of course your name is actually Matthew (in which case, hi Matthew, hope you enjoyed the story haha).

Because changing the name of the main character in VaM is, to my knowledge, impossible (that is, making his name a variable inside VaM which is called for the dialogue and story texts) I thought the alternative would to be not have the characters address each other at all, which would result in a lot of work rewriting the story and editing the scene. Then I remembered VaM uses json files for its saves. And with the help of windows' text replace feature I wrote a little batch file which replaces all of the occurring name drops for the MC and changes them to whatever you like. And because doing the same for the milf's character wasn't much work you can change her name now too!

This approach uses variable names which get overwritten after you have changed the names, so it comes with the downside of only working the first time you change their names. And it would be even better if there was a way to change something like this inside of VaM and not outside of it. So if anyone has a different and better approach I would gladly hear it!

Zwega out <3
Finally featuring the missing bikini clothes, big thanks to scsi and Juno for figuring out why it was missing!
During Orient Express I also realized reducing motion capture keyframes greatly reduces loading times and file size so it should also load faster now!
More like it's been a... hard... waiting time, idk, anyway the Public Release of It's a Yard Work Life is finally here! This has really been the biggest project I've worked on so far, I hope you enjoy every minute of it ;)

Though I tried thinking of most scenarios that might go wrong in the end I'm only one guy and one set of eyes might overlook stuff in a scene this big. So please let me know if you encounter any sort of bugs and I'll try to fix them in a future release for the remaining story paths.
