Hana Futa 8k skin, + 4k diffuse option + 16k diffuse option with addon package
Detailing overhaul of WeebUVR's Ruby futa skin, from RenVR's Allie female skin, modeled on slightly modded and re-rigged Ruby look as HANA.
For the realism enthusiast, the person with the blurry VR headset that doesn't want to cooperate, or just anybody really.
Well, I still felt I could make some improvements on the hi-res skin detailing overhaul workflow. I used what I learned with my process for Caroline Skin and Elena Futa Skin, and went about things slightly differently this time. Even with a more polished and streamlined workflow now, it still takes a really long time to process billions of pixels for all DSGN maps (full skin in this case! Awesome!), then keep them all labeled and matched up properly, make sure nothing went overboard, and stay organized. But hey, it's done, and I learned some stuff along the way.
Features:
- Demo scene with everything available there, and RealFeel Marionette BioRig settings loaded on the model for ease of use
- Detail overhauled with Sorcery (tm) 8k diffuse, spec, gloss, and normal maps (this is the main resource idea)
- 4k diffuse option, which uses original textures from WeebUVR's Allie futa skin used in Ruby look (RenVR original Allie female author). This loads in by default in the demo scene. If you use this you may want to up the diffuse bumpiness- it's lowered in the presets because the hi res textures are very loud. The 4k original textures were converted from .png to .jpeg to save size, as I saw negligible loss in quality. I also wanted to package them in this .var to minimize complexity, and also just allow people easy use of the original look.
- 16k diffuse option available via addon package (should be up as a dependency for this .var).
- Skin presets
- Mildly modified Ruby look as Hana. Appearance presets included. Regardless of diffuse level, each preset uses 8k SGN maps.
- 3 all-in-one morphs used to create Hana. Female, Male, and Male Genital. Each morph was bone re-rigged in Daz3d to ensure prevention of screwy issues and make sure the model will move as well as it possibly can (in my theory). MVR_G2female is baked into the male morph.
- Widened thigh gap region to accommodate genitals, and morphs from AV Surgery - Feet baked in.
- Sharpened normal maps
- Slight skin material tweaks to minimize flashiness
- Mystery button in demo scene

Known issues:
"Why are my textures sparkling the further I get away from the model?"
- This likely has to do with the relationship between the large size of the textures and the smaller size of the game window's display. A 16k texture, reduced in size, on a 1080p display will likely cause this "sparkle" effect in areas of fine detail with lots of minute variation in pixels. This effect should be minimized or removed on a larger display, or on a VR headset (which also may have a larger display).
"What's that line?"
- This texture contained, and contains, some seams. The detail overhauling has made some of them more visible, or intensified some. Banding in some places, such as on the testicles, was also picked up by some stages of the Sorcery (tm) methods and carried forward through the workflow. Well, sorry about that. But I don't think it's that bad. No texture is truly perfect. And this one's pretty good. Appreciate it for what it is, and choose what resolution of diffuse textures you want to use, for whatever purpose, dynamic or stationary.
Thank you very much to WeebUVR for your Ruby model and your very creative and inventive uses of all the tools in VaM. Taking apart your scenes has made learning VaM easier for me. And thank you to RenVR for your original Allie skin. Without these two creators and their dedication to their artwork, there would be nothing for me to cast Sorcery (tm) on.
