OMG Top work here! So glad to hear the heel import issues have been dealt with. Would love to see some of that documented at some point but for now I more than stoked with this release. Hell yeah!
My workflow is a little different in Blender though. I rough out a very basic sole and upper shape very low res in a flat foot pose, then switch to working around a final foot pose rather than leaving it flat as in YameteOuji's guide. I much prefer this as it helps me visualise proportions and fine tune to fit to the final pose.
That does mean I need to use Daz transfer utility, fit to G2, for all parts bar the heels to flatten them back out for VAM import.
For Heels I manually angle and postion them to a flat foot in daz (transform and fit to figure will screw them up!). That requires multiple VAM imports until the position is just right :)
I've started working on a Futa version :)
Just need to be aware that they won't be as clean as the female versions.
Wrapping to morphed verts always seems to introduce issues for me with shoes, particularly on the sole. The Heel and uppers look spot on though in my tests.
Also the HeelAdjust plugin doesn't work with males as I don't think there are the necessary colliders on males.
You can still be parent toes to the feet and that works ok, just not as good as the plugin :)
I'm still figuring out how everything works with the heel adjust plugin but i'm really delighted by how many options there are for footwear. This is incredible, thank you so much!
Excellent work!
Although I don't know why I don't see anything in the "clothing item for new save" button. I have done all the steps up to and including step 3.
Hi there. Have you added the heels as a clothing item to your character first? If so, if you click on the button that says 'None' you should see a list of all clothing items that are currently on your model.
