Cloth attach mode - pin a frozen part to a point on another part of the same garment. It follows that cloth, cloth simulation included: on a simulated garment the parts are placed on the GPU straight from the simulation, with no lag, and the anchor uses smoothed normals so they don't jitter.
Auto Fit button - puts the frozen copy back where the garment wraps the group right now and solves Position, Rotation and Scale Overall. Vertex and Cloth modes re-anchor on the point under the pivot; Bone mode keeps its bone.
Picking with a preview - Pick Skin Vertex and the new Pick Cloth Point anchor on Ctrl+left-click and show a wireframe, the surface normal and a ghost of the group where it would land. Cloth hidden behind the body can't be picked.
Group flash - switching tabs outlines that group on the figure for a moment, so you can tell which mesh a tab is.
Vertex mode can now anchor inside a skin triangle (Auto Fit uses this), so position and twist follow the surface smoothly.
Fixes
The island-selection highlight no longer sinks into the skin on accessories that sit away from the body.
Material groups that share border vertices no longer overwrite each other.
If an anchor can't be resolved for a frame, the part keeps its last position instead of jumping away.
Lighter readback: only the vertices actually used are read back, without per-frame stalls.
The overview page has been updated with the new panel tour and pictures of Cloth mode and the group flash.
