This is another one that took me forever to figure out. It was only after someone complained in a review that I didn't include any appearance presets with the look I'd posted that I realized each look has saved presets you can access by clicking on the var itself. It was a revelation. Before then I'd always saved the appearances locally (like your guide describes) after downloading a look.
Keep up the good work. I guarantee these guides are helping beginners past the rather steep VaM learning curve.

That sounds really interesting, but i don't really get it. There are already appearane presets in existing looks itself?
Where do i have to click on the var, to get access to the already existing preset?

There's a lot of stuff i figured out and i wished i had had some easy tutorials for it
