New Features:
Bug Fixes:
- When browsing Clothing Items, there is now a count of Clothing Item Presets displayed on the thumbnail image of each clothing item. This can be disabled in the plugin UI settings if not required.
- New combi-tag rules for resources packaged in VARs by Creators who have been marked as "Preferred". The combi-tags can then be used to drive VARManagement rules.
- New combi-tag rules for resources that are based on the resource being updated or created a specified number of days ago. Greater than, Less than or Equal to comparators are supported. The combi-tags can then be used to drive VARManagement rules.
- Resolved a bug that was causing some missing content when VAR packages were inside folders that ended with '.var' in their folder name.
New Features:
Bug Fixes:
- New option (available in the plugin settings UI) to configure the Top Menu launch button to always open BA with a specific Resource Type.
- New option (available in the plugin settings UI) to force the VAM toolbar launch button to always open BA with the default Resource Type.
- Offloaded (or Disabled) VARs (and their dependencies) can now be Enabled rapidly from the Resource Actions UI, when browsing Resources contained within the Offloaded VAR. This is done by clicking on the button that says "OFFLOADED VAR" or "DISABLED VAR" in the Action tab under the browser results window.
- New Combi Tag rules for scenes that have (or have not) been Import Scanned.
- Resolved a bug that was causing some Clothing Item Presets to not correctly load
New Features:
Bug Fixes:
- The order of Resource Types in the drop down selectors can now be configured. The ordering can be configured in the Plugin UI settings under Global Settings > Resource Types
- Scrollbar position (and page) in the main resource browser window is maintained when switching between resource types. Each resource type maintains its own independent scroll and page results position. e.g. if you switch from Scenes to Preset Appearance and then back to Scene, you should be in the same scroll bar position in the results window.
- Major bug fixes to the Combi Tags which for a number of rules were not being dynamically updated. Before the fix, certain rules (e.g. local file location rules) were only being calculated on plugin start. Combi tags should now all update as soon as BA is aware a dependent factor is modified (in some cases a Rescan is still required).
- Some performance refinements to prevent unnecessary dependency checks when VARManagement is disabled.
New Features:
- A history of previously selected resources (e.g. scenes, presets etc) is now maintained by BA. Navigation buttons on the resource selection pane allow you to navigate back and forth between previously selected resources rapidly - including between different resource types. This mode is disable when multi selecting resources.
- For VAR Package browsing (Select 'VAR Packages' under Resource Type), there is a new action pane that lists all resources contained within a VAR package. Resources can be selected from this pane for further action. The navigation history feature above allows you to easily navigate back and forth between Resources and VARs.
- This info panel of resources now allows you to navigate directly to the containing VAR package, by clicking on the VAR package.
- Some minor improvements to plugin startup speed.
New Features:
- For VAR Package browsing (Select 'VAR Packages' under Resource Type), there are now two new tag options in the Tags panel. These will apply the following VAM settings
- 'Pre-load Morphs' marks a VAR package as a 'Morph Pack' ensuring any containing Morphs are available in the VAM Person Morph browser. VAR Management rules can also be configured based on this setting.
- 'Ignore Dep Errors' marks a VAR packages with the 'Ignore Dependency Errors' toggle (available under User Prefs of VAM Addon Package Manager UI). Tagged VARs that have missing dependency errors will not be reported as having Missing Dependencies by either BA or VAM.
- Both of these tags can be bulk applied to multiple selected VARs.
- There is a pre-requisite to re-run the CreateBASymLinks batch file located in VAM\Saves\PluginData\JayJayWon\BrowserAssist\
- New Combi & multi tag filtering options to filter VARs based on the 'Pre-Load Morphs' and 'Ignore Dep Errors' tags.
- New Combi & Multi tag filtering options to filter VARs based on Morph Count, Dependency Count and Used By VAR count. e.g. so you can now filter to show morphs that have more than x VARs that depend on it (i.e. the reverse of dependencies).
New Features:
Bug fixes:
- In VAR Packages browsing, a new resource tab to see Direct Dependencies - i.e. VARs that are immediate dependencies of a selected VAR. This view will also show where dependencies are missing.
- In VAR Packages browsing, a new resource tab to see All Dependencies - i.e. VARs that are immediate dependencies of a selected VAR and all of their sub-dependencies. This view will also show where dependencies are missing. Where a Direct Dependency is a 'latest' version dependency, then this view will show the specific version (e.g. creator.varname.1 or creator.varname.2) of the VAR that will be considered dependent currently.
- In VAR Packages browsing, a new resource tab to see Used By dependent VARs - i.e. VARs that are currently Used By the selected VAR. Effectively this is the inverse of a Dependency.
- Where VAR Management is active (i.e. Offloading or Disabling VARs automatically), manual dependencies can now be added. These manual dependencies (and their sub-dependencies) will be automatically Enabled by VAR Management when required. This allows the correction of VARs packaged with dependencies missing from their meta.json files.
- Some minor improvements to the plugin startup time.
- Fixed a bug that was causing Combi tags on Clothing items to be duplicated as VAM Clothing tags.
Bug Fixes:
Improvements
- Implemented a fix for the slow process when deleting multiple VARs.
- Implemented an option (available in the plugin UI under general settings) to trigger a rescan of VARs when a VAR is deleted.
- Implemented a fix for SELF references in presets that have been extracted from VARs into local folders.
- The advanced tag filtering options now show tag category colors and allow the list of tags to be narrowed by tag category.
Bug Fixes:
Improvements
- Resolved a bug (introduced in v1.32.0) that caused BA to crash on startup if BA had not been previously run in that instance of VAM.
- Resolved a bug that caused an error on startup in certain scenarios where VARManagement was not active but a VAR was disabled in VAM.
- Resolved an issue that was causing thumbnail images of resources to not always be loaded if using the filter by Resource name
- Implemented some performance improvements that may reduce BA startup times
New Features:
Bug fixes:
- VAR Package resource type now provides a browser view by Packages. This view will support a range of VAR Management features in the future. Initial features include
- Ability to offload, disable or enable individual packages (when VARManagement is enabled). This will not modify any VARManagement rulesets.
- Filter to find VARs that have any missing dependencies.
- Sort VARs by the count of Morphs and see the number of Morphs in each package (allows identification of packages that will have the largest fps performance impact)
- Tag VARs and then use those tags in VAR Management rulesets
- Info panel now contains stats on:
- Morph Count in each VAR
- Dependency Count (and missing dependency count). i.e. number of VARs that each VAR has a dependency on.
- Used by Count - shows the number of VARs that depend on the selected VAR (the reverse of dependencies). This allows identification of VARs that can be deleted without breaking other VARs.
- New visual queue (a small purple square icon - similar to the green (favorite) and red (hidden) icons) in the Browser window indicates when resources have been offloaded or disabled by VARManagement.
- If the SymLinks to AddonPackages is not working then, the VARManagement tab in the plugin UI will now be visible but with an appropriate warning.
- Fixed a performance bug that was impacting fps after repeated loading of scenes (when VAR Management was being used).
New Features:
Bug fixes:
- Hair browser (similar to Clothing browser) provides an alternative Browser to the VAM Hair browser with all the extra BA features (e.g. being able to bulk Tag multiple items etc.)
- In Desktop mode, the Browser restores the last docked position (i.e. left, right or expanded) when restarting BA.
CAUTION: Before using this version of BA, it is recommended that existing users take a backup of their Meta data using the backup tool in the plugin UI under "Global Settings > Backups". This version introduces support for a new Resource type (Hair) which has a slightly increased risk of causing Tag data corruptions (there are no specific known issues that would cause corruptions, but taking a backup is just a sensible precaution).
- Fixed a bug importing appearance presets from Scenes with missing VAR dependencies when using the Only Suppress Real Clothing option
VAR Management: Users of the BA VAR Management feature with large numbers of Offloaded or Disabled VARs, may experience a slow BrowserAssist start on first using this release. BA needs to re-scan every VAR for Hair items and will need to re-enable all VARs to achieve this. VARs will be returned to their previous state once re-scanned and normal BA start times will resume after the first BA start up.
