Hi Guest!
Please be aware that we have released a critical security patch for VaM. We strongly recommend updating to version 1.22.0.7 using the VaM_Updater found in your installation folder.
Details about the security patch can be found here.
Delete local resource files (subject to enabling sym-links using the CreateBASymLinks.bat)
Delete VAR packages - requires to rerun 'CreateBASymLinks.bat' from Saves\PluginData\JayJayWon\BrowserAssist after running the new BrowserAssist VAR in VAM to allow access to AddonPackages folder. Then reload BrowserAssist.
New Target Atom option to create new Person Atoms at the same time as loading a person preset.
New tab to allow positioning of new and existing atoms. Positioning can be in absolute world space, or relative to another atom, vr controller, vr headset or desktop viewpoint.
Additional Plugin UI settings to configure the default position for new atoms created in Browser Assist.
Additional button on the Creators filter to quickly reset the Creator choice to the default value.
New launch button now available on the VAM Top Menu (can be disabled in the Plugin Custom UI).
Completely new Plugin Custom UI (available under Session Plugins > Browser Assist> Custom UI).
Additional options to position the launch button on the main VAM UI. Includes the option to replace the default Scene Browser button.
Browser filter settings are now per resource. So if you switch between resource types, it will remember what your filter settings were for each one.
Configure the initial Filter settings for each Resource Type that are applied at the plugin startup.
Zoom level of the resource browser (ie. how big each resource icon icon is) is persisted between each session, so you can set it to your preferred zoom level and it will resume at that level the next time you use VAM. Different zoom levels are remembered for VR & Desktop modes.
Fixed a bug the prevented Local General Presets being available
Fixed a bug that meant in VR the UI could not be repositioned using the right VR controller.
A 'New' tag is now automatically applied to resources when they are first detected by BrowserAssist (BA). The 'New' tag is automatically cleared when a resource is loaded using BA. You can manually apply or remove the New tag.
Prominent label on resource thumbnails to show those that are NEW. Where new items are inside updated VARs packages, the label is changed to UPDATED.
Additional filtering toggle for just New items.
Brief Loading message now appears on resource thumbnails when they have been activated for loading.
An additional toggle button to Close BrowserAssist UI on Loading a resource. This setting is per Resource Type and is persisted between BrowserAssist loads.
Filtering by Resource Name now defaults to a loser 'Contains' logic (i.e. result will return all resources where the package name or path contains the search string). There are options in the Plugin UI to make the filter logic more specific (i.e. resource name Starts with the search string) if you wish.
Resolved an issue where occasionally the resource browser went blank in Desktop mode after alt-tabbing to other applications in Windows.
Double click to immediately load resources from their thumbnail resource image. Right Click (or long press in VR) to quickly access Hidden and Favorite tags.
Additional AcidBubbles KeyBindings to allow quick key press access to specific resource types and toggle the Show Hidden and Only Favorite filters.
Visual cues on Resource Thumbnails to indicate Hidden and Favorite Tags. Green dot means favorited, Red dot indicates hidden.
The gender tags (male or female) for Presets now impacts the default target atom whenever a new resource is selected. It will alter the target atom to be the first available person in the scene of the matching gender. Similar logic applies for the Session and Scene tags for plugins.
Patreon only features:
Plugins can now be browsed and loaded. Option to automatically open the Plugin UI on load.
Optional Plugin Thumbnails VAR can be used to automatically provide thumbnail images for many of the common plugins. Just place it in your AddonPackages folder and restart BrowserAssist.
