• Happy Holidays Guest!

We want to announce that we will be working at reduced staffing for the holidays. Specifically Monday the 23rd until Jan 2nd.

This will affect approval queue times and responses to support tickets. Please adjust your plans accordingly and enjoy yourselves this holiday season!

  • Hi Guest!

Please be aware that we have released a critical security patch for VaM. We strongly recommend updating to version 1.22.0.7 using the VaM_Updater found in your installation folder.

Details about the security patch can be found here.
  • added Keybindings actions: BodyWeight.OpenUI and BodyWeight.ToggleEnabled
  • better UI tabs style
  • on Save Masses Into Joint Controls, a window pops up with information (instead of a message being posted to the log)
  • fixed error on initialization due to male genitals controllers not available yet - parameters for these will now be initialized on demand when loading a male skin
Save mass values with pose

1713775088918.png

This will save the masses into VAM's joint controls (chestControl, hipControl etc.), and the masses will then save with the pose and scene, and can be restored without this plugin being present. The saved mass includes the multiplier, so e.g. a chest mass of 10 kg with Mass Multiplier 1.2 will save 12 kg into chestControl.

This button is also a triggerable parameter.

IMPORTANT: By default, the mass parameters in joint controls have a maximum value of 10. The plugin unconstrains these parameters to allow values higher than that to be stored with poses, but loading those poses will still limit the value to max 10 unless the mass parameter is unconstrained! This means you need to have this plugin present when loading poses where the mass of any joint is above 10, or you need to have unconstrained the parameter by other means e.g. by using Slider Unlock by @Stopper .

Other changes
  • Joint mass sliders in the plugin UI are now unconstrained (range adjustment enabled)
    • Warning: mass values close to 0 can cause problems!
  • The joint mass sliders are now initialized with the actual current mass values. This is to prevent overwriting the mass values saved in poses/scene.
    • Click on Plugin Defaults to apply the defaults!
  • Removed carpal and thumb sliders from the Arms and Hands section, since those don't natively have controllers and can't be saved in the pose
  • Small adjustments to plugin defaults
