Great scene! Getting a kind of weird issue when I look toward her feet my BSB wacks out and breaks into black, magenta, and static weirdness. It's pretty reproducible and (so far?) easily recoverable so wondering if there's some edge case that could cause that?

I'm not sure what a BSB is 😅

A screenshot or video would maybe help me understand

Ah, sorry - Big Screen Beyond. It's a vr headset so it's the actual physical device that's malfunctioning. This isn't the only scene I've seen it happen either though. Something to do with a special combination of bright lights seems to cause it because if I remove enough the error stops. Was just curious if you had any insights. Thanks for checking back though. Really sweet scene, I enjoyed how lifelike you managed to make the animations, it's very impressive!
Do you have any tips for Timeline?
What would you say is the most important things you have to keep in mind when making animations and what was the most challenging aspect that could potentially ruin your efforts?
I'm thinking of making my own animations, but so far progress has been sparce although I am fairly confident I have grasped the basics.

Thanks! The biggest factor is the fact that it's motion captured. Manual keyframe animating in VaM is very hard and I personally never was able to get any good looking results from that. I still do a lot of work in timeline after the mocap recording though, as I still have to clean up the keyframes, make some of them smoother, bulk edit some parts for better alignment and manually keyframe animate the fingers and facial expression (however, in this scene facial expressions are just randomized by a plugin)

Oh, right, what equipment is used for mocap? I was thinking to use my VR headset, but I have no clue what to do about legs and pelvis if I do.
