Color Harmony Tool - What color goes with this???

Early Access to all my tiers. Becomes CC-BY on April 16th

Ever stare at a color you love and have no idea what other colors will actually work with it?
That's exactly what this plugin solves.

The Color Harmony Tool is a simple utility plugin for VirtaMate that takes any color you pick and instantly shows you three families of colors that are mathematically guaranteed to work well with it — based on real color theory...

Hey. This looks great. Thanks for sharing (well on April 16th anyway!) :)

A small suggestion if I may?

Have a Drop Down and help text (first column, first row) to select the mode (Complementary, Triadic, etc), and an Input color (second column, first row).

Below this, just have Color 1, Color 2 (second row) and Color 3, Color 4 (third row).

This would make the UI more extensible and reduce overwhelm / confusion about which colors to pick. Once I've "dialled in" the color model, I only have to choose which color. For things like Analagous and Complementary or Triadic, you could disable Color 4, or just set it the same as Color 3?

It would also let you expand into things like Achromatic, Split Complement and more with not much additional effort.

That's just my humble suggestion anyway. :)

Keep up the great work.

"Ever stare at a color you love and have no idea what other colors will actually work with it?"... lol. Yes, and many times, especially when deciding what shirt and pants I should wear together, only to have my wife make me change before leaving the house. This is a must-have plugin for any guy who cares about such things. A helpful contribution, Dragontales. Thanks
