VaM 1.x Hey guys! I'd like to ask you a question: why do underwear expand or get embedded inside atoms?

Alright guys, check the pic — what do I do here? I feel like I remember some plugin that can handle this?

When you import clothes into vam, the cloth item is wrapped to the vam model based on the cloth mesh to the nearest vertice on the model. For most of the body this is fine and doesn't lead to much distortion of the cloth but the crotch area is well known for having issues.

There's a couple of plugins that can help this, Skynet's cloth sculpt plugin and Regguise made a plugin that allows you to change what vam wraps the cloth to. Worth giving these a go!

Those plugins are great, I can highly recommend them.

Playing with certain sliders like under tab Physics > Collision radius, Collision power, and Distance Scale can also fix various problems. Don't forget to check the tab adjusmance and play with Surface Offset. Also keep in mind that inner labia doesn't collide with clothing. If you create a female character with larger inner labia, it will no-clip through the clothes. This is where those plugins are great, because they allow you to adjust specific parts of the clothing rather than the entire clothing piece.
