VaM 1.x Is there an easy way to hide character root gizmo?

Does anyone know, is there some way to completely hide character gizmo, so that it would not show even when character is selected?
Maybe there is a plugin "hide/show character gizmo" somewhere?

Nope. Current Selection always shows up.

If the problem is "I end up moving it without wanting". Go in the move tab and lock rotation and position.

It just always gets in the way... I know its possible to modify scene json file to hide it, but its too complicated, I was hoping there is an easier way to show it on/off

If you don't need the root, then use the "detach" feature, move it out of the way ^^
