This looks like using a non 'Base Female" skin. Always use 'Base Female' skins. There is even a warning message about this I think.View attachment 608162

The preset will not influence the scrotum, unless you maybe save it while 'Hide Penis' is on. Just save your preset with 'Hide Penis' off. The provided presets do not reduce or remove the scrotum.Hi, forgive my ignorance, but how do we get an AF preset to load with the scrotum again? Choosing presets eg GinaAltFuta and GinaAltFutaVag both have balls missing? Sorry if this has already been answered or if it is really obvious!
1. First of all, the main problem seems to be related to systems using on demand package loading only. Right? It's not advisable to edit the meta.json to 'add dependencies'. The meta.json is just a mirror of all the dependencies that have been automatically recognised by the .var file system, e.g. by scanning through package references in the plugin code.@RunRudolf it looks like AlternativeFuta doesn't declare its resources pack as a dependency, causing NRE with package managers (I'm using VPB).
On installs that don't already have AlternativeFutaResources registered (e.g. anything using VPB's on-demand package loading), the plugin fails and spams NREs. Two root causes:
Thanks!
- The .var's meta.json declares no dependencies. Init() locates the morph pack via FileManagerSecure.GetPackageVersion("RunRudolf.AlternativeFutaResources.latest"), which returns -1 because nothing ever told the package manager the pack is needed. The plugin references it only by name-query, and the dependency isn't declared (confirmed in Hub too). Declaring RunRudolf.AlternativeFutaResources in meta.json fixes this at the source: Hub download offers it as a missing dependency, and on-demand loaders (VPB, etc.) resolve and register it automatically. (Verified: a build with the dependency declared loads the pack on demand with no manual intervention.)
- Update() dereferences characterRun with no null-guard. When Init() early-returns on the "not installed" path, characterRun stays null and Update() throws NullReferenceException every frame - the log fills and FPS tanks. Best to log once and disable, rather than throwing per-frame.

You have to switch base skin before adding the alt futa plugin.i tried but when i do skin reload it always go back to female 3 if i change skin the penis disappears
My bad, all I had to do was load AF plugin and select presets BEFORE loading the RE&FS suite and everything runs perfect, thanks so much for one of the best resources on the Hub! <3The preset will not influence the scrotum, unless you maybe save it while 'Hide Penis' is on. Just save your preset with 'Hide Penis' off. The provided presets do not reduce or remove the scrotum.
I think you can even load it with RE&FS active, but remove any clothing covering the genitals before loading. My bad, all I had to do was load AF plugin and select presets BEFORE loading the RE&FS suite and everything runs perfect, thanks so much for one of the best resources on the Hub! <3
Hi Tenzan, sorry for my late reply (due to holidays)! I just loaded one of the provided presets (these are not actually plugin presets, just configuration presets) and it worked as it should. Do you load an actual plugin preset from the pink UI on the left? I would not recommend that. You should best create, load and save your setups inside the AlternativeFuta plugin:Hi Rudolf. I'm using v9.
When loading a plugin preset that's saved with Hide Female Gens toggled off, I notice the vagina doesn't load right away.
Can this be fixed?
Reload Skin can fix this, but if I also have RE&FS it will reset the shape/size again.
Hi, the shrink functionality comes from the Realistic Foreskin and Erection plugins, not the Alternative Futa. You will find input on how to force shrinking for individual clothing items in the description of the other plugin. It is the tag based system for each clothing item, some special items have to be tagged one time to enable shrinking effects.Hey there. So, there are a bunch of underwear/panties that don't the trigger "shrink/hide penis" option properly. It seems to be specific to each outfit piece, and hard to pinpoint. Do you think it would be viable to add an option to "force" the shrink/hide penis effect, when the detection doesn't work right? Or perhaps there's something else I'm missing? I did try to disable/enable the outfit piece after activating the "shrink penis in penis" option.
- Fixed a (hidden) Update() bug message if the Resources Pack was missing. Thanks @dises1 for the hint!
- Included a hard-coded reference to the resources pack to allow addon package managers to recognize the resources pack as a necessary dependency.
- Added detection and warning if the 'Female Dummy' skin preset (without textures) is active upon plugin loading.
I will try to reproduce the issue with teo basic scenes with just one altfuta each, and loading them in sequence.for some reason when I upgreaded from version 9 to 11, the script do not load after next scene load, I have to reload the script to make it work. Script in the UI looks like enabled and everything seems to be fine, I just need to click reload button, but I didn't had to do it in version 9
- Version 11 introduced a bug when loading saved scene files. This led to interrupted plugin loading. Thanks @Torrasque for pointing me to the bug!
RunRudolf submitted a new resource:
Alternative Futa - Bugfixed Alternative Futa Plugin by Stopper/VamTimbo

Do you have the resources pack downloaded?! It is a dependency from 9 onward: https://hub.virtamate.com/resources/68040/!> Missing addon package RunRudolf.AlternativeFutaResources.latest that packageRunRudolf.AlternativeFuta.12 depends on
Still reporting an error. I have been waiting for your update since version 11, but the result is still the same. I don't know where the problem lies, but I have no problem with version 7.
Some clothes are not made for alt futa "geometry" and will disappear shortly after mounting. I do not know much more, its a known issue with some clothing items.I have always had a question, why do some pants turn on simulation and cannot be seen, while others are fine
Hi there, and thanks for trying to guide me to understand the problems. It seems pretty difficult, but lets try. Lets divide this into separate topics, as they don't seem to relate:Hi again, @RunRudolf
I tested the version you sent me through Discord, and seems to keep well penis length when reloading skin, but apparently sometimes it won't keep skin colors well, the Diffuse Color shades you see on the atached pic are not those of my guy's body, I can assure you that and it shows on my guy's pelvis. I've tested it in 2 scenes, one with my original male, a Stopper AF version of him and a version of him with the plugin that you sent me (the atached picture is of this scene), and another scene with just my original male and a version of him with your AF V.13 plugin. I specify this because I think it is not a good practice having both @Stopper and your plug-in in the same scene, I've seen very weird things happening in those situations, or switching from one to another.
Also, have you checked the colliders in your version of the AltFuta plug-in? If you see my pic, the 1st shaft collider is misaligned and repeatedly tapping against the already absurdly up to bowtie level scrotum colliders that all AltFutas have by default. Well, when I loaded the appearance and the AF Skin Preset I made for your plug-in, and reloaded the skin, the first and last penis colliders (shaft and glans) were so low, as if some of them didn't get the bone+mesh offset well. Fiddling the Y offsets and then setting all them back to zero almost fixed the problem, but I wanted to tell you, just in case...
Another thing I'd like to ask you: is it possible to add a trigger to "Load Preset With Path" instead of "...From Path"? I mean the kind of trigger that comes with a big button on the trigger's tab to "Choose File". I ask bc having to write the full path of a Skin Preset is sometimes tedious or you can mistake a letter or a / sign.
I've seen that Stopper is around again, I don't know if his/her version of the plug-in will be updated or something, but since you're doing so much, I guess you're gonna keep working on your version. Thank you so much for everything!!
