I'm using the "Supress Scale Load" in UIAssist that basically helps characters stay the same height in a scene even if I load different appearance presets. However, even if I have this on, character heights still seem to change by the same amount as if I had it off (I compared switching back and forth). Am I missing something, or is there a fix to this? Thanks much in advance.

Scale affects your character like it's just a single 3D object, it's not really the right way to configure height. Unfortunately, there are multiple settings that can affect a character's height like morphs for leg length and upper body length, so making characters fit consistently across different scenes isn't that easy. The only thing I can think of that attempts to make it a simpler process is the Bodynet plugin/scene.

This is super helpful, thanks a bunch. Just out of curiosity, is there a reason the suppress scale load isn't doing anything at all? Although it wouldn't be perfect, I'm just curious why it has not a single difference before vs. after.

I don't use UIAssist, but it sounds like it only affects the scale in the "Controls and Physics 1" tab?

If your different appearances already have the same scale (1.00?) it won't have any effect. In this case, and as @Clownmug mentioned, your appearances have different heights because some morphs make adjustments that come into play.
