VaM 1.x bHaptics Tactsuit X40 virt a mate compatibility?

Threads regarding the original VaM 1.x
Not natively. It looks like it only works with a dozen or so games. Someone would have to write a plugin for it, I'm guessing.

as this is sort of a sim game it seems like something like this woulda been a priority lol.

i have True gear and OWO Haptic Suite it would be great have Software both working and to feels more immerse anyway In the future it will be full body like Teslasuit the difference this one is very expensive

I agree haptics should be looked into fully as that would be incredible. Just putting it out there that SPQR available via patreon started work on a plugin for vr gloves from bhaptics and seemed to have a working prototype in the rehaptics plugin according to someone that was testing for them. I don't know the current state and it seemed to be dropped at that stage, but it seemed that it would communicate with the api from bhaptics app. If someone wanted to look into it a good place to start. I was curious about the gloves as that sounds pretty cool. If it had gotten a little further or just confirmed a bit more I probably would have dove into those, but at $250 seems risky not knowing if it works. But even buzzing controllers with rehaptics plugin right now adds immersion tremendously.

There are a lot of haptic vest/glove products on the market, and more popping up all the time. I would guess that no more than a handful of Vam users own one of these products. I would disagree that spending time making sure each of them work natively with Vam should be a priority. Given that there are under a dozen games this works with, it would seem that even much, much larger game studios don't think it's a priority. That's the way it goes when you're an early adopter to a technology.

This is absolutely a job for a plugin.
