@Acid Bubbles please help me, i'm going crazy with this... i want to merge 2+ animations into one, but since they have different root control offset, the character slides away at "seam" point, e.g. the character moves around during animation while the root node stays in place and the 2 animations have different offset both of the root control and the atom itself. I guess if i want to merge them, i should re-offset both the root node and the atom's relative location, otherwise it's impossible to merge seamlessly. I also guess i have to enter offset controller mode to tune it, but it seems not to work for some reason: i detach control node, adjust offset, re-attach... and everything goes back to previous state( i tried all 3 modes, change pivot, move relative to root, offset). To align the root control, i previously aligned an empty atom to the root location of first anim, then align the root of the second anim to it: root node stays aligned, but the character always goes back to its original location. Playing the animations in sequence at correct offset by saved pose works, but i'd like to merge the animations for better smoothness and stability. What am i missing out?

Do you have a looping walk in place timeline animation? There are some on the HUB I think.
Probably the easiest would be to add control node to a looping in-place walking animation,
change the animation length to what you need using Loop length mode (edit tab),
and then simply animate control node

Are you replying to the other thread? :) No, i recorded built-in animation and it's perfect. Now i'm just figuring out how to merge 2 anims together: As mentioned, they play correctly in sequence after adjusting their respective offset, but obviously, if i want to merge them, they must have identical relative offset...

No, sorry, I was just suggesting an alternative way to do walking, thats all
You could import looping walk animation, extend its length, and animate control node to move the character

This is the result so far. As you can see, there is a seam between animations (when the character stops walking and starts dancing). Making it smooth would be nice itself, but i'd like to merge the animations to make the whole job easier.

Looks good (y) , to make it smoother you could copy the last frame and make it the first frame of your next animation and then delete some frames after it

No, i can't because of the offset problem (again). If i copy the last frame to the second anim, the character slides away when playing. I'm wondering if i am dumb or vam is actually missing some obvious features that should have been considered by creator...
