“Confirm Load” Toggling this on will give you a pop up warning when loading a new scene.
“Hide Exit Button” Hides the exit button
on the Base UI.
“Auto Freeze Motion/Sound On Switch To Edit Mode” Toggling this on will automatically toggle the
“Freeze Motion/Sound” On when you switch to the Edit Mode in the Base UI.
“On Startup Skip Top Menu and Load Default Scene” Toggling this on will skip the Startup Screen Top Menu and instead load your default scene.
”Use Legacy World Scale Method From 1.20 and Prior Versions” In 1.21 the world scale option in the Base UI was changed so that when changing world scale, the player's eye center position will now always remain constant, so the point of view is exactly the same. So that it now appears as if everything gets bigger/smaller and further/closer as scale changes. Toggling this on changs this option back the legacy version.
”Target Visibility” Default 1.00, adjusts the transparency of the Target Icons.
“Crosshair Visibility” Default 0.10, This affects the visibility of the crosshair when in “Mouse Look” mode on desktop. Located on the Desktop UI Bar.
“Draw UI On Top” Toggles the UI to be drawn on top of atoms in the scene.
When this is turned off, the UI clips into any geometry intersecting its location in the world.
”Flip Toolbar” flips the location of the icons in the Base UI.
“Use Monitor View and Focus Offset When UI is Open” When this is toggled on the Monitor View in desktop mode will slightly offset the scene view to keep your object of focus within view to avoid partially obscuring it behind the UI panel. Desktop Only, no effect in VR.
”Hide Targets That Are In Off State” has the same functionality as
“Show Inactive Targets” in the Base UI. Toggling the display of Person Atom Nodes that are set to “Off” in the control menu. Atom nodes hidden by this can still be selected.
“Only Show Controllers When Menu Open” This is a VR only option that will hide your controllers until you open the Base UI.
“Only Show Targets and Overlays When Menu Open” When this is toggled On all VaM Icons will be hidden by default until the Base UI is displayed. Works in both VR and Desktop modes. Atoms can still be selected when hidden in this way..
“Your Creator Name” Enter your creator name here that will be used to identify your custom made assets. Such as Clothing Hair, and Packages.
The following options relate to your Daz Studio install folder and one extra library location.
”DAZ Import” This is where you can enter the location of your Daz asset folder.
When entered here they will display in the “Shortcuts” panel when browsing for a Duf File to import.
You can locate or change your Daz Studio content directories from within Daz Studio with the “Content Directory Manager”
”Extra Library Dir” This should point to any other Daz content location you may have.
”Default Content Dir” This should point to your primary Daz studio asset location
”Reset All Settings to Default” Resets all settings in the User Preferences tab to default. This is a global reset, not just for this specific tab. Clicking this returns you to the “First Time User Startup Page”
”DAZ Import” This is where you can enter the location of your Daz asset folder.
When entered here they will display in the “Shortcuts” panel when browsing for a Duf File to import.
