Question Zooming in close doesn't always work on desktop

Most of the time when I'm in desktop mode I can zoom all the way into a models face and get really close. But sometimes after saving a scene I can no longer zoom in super close with my mouse wheel, about the closest I can get is full body, maybe waist to head. Has anyone else ever noticed this and found a solution? I'm kind of stumped as to why zoom in works most of the time but sometimes it doesn't.

Zooming with the wheel has a limit distance. What you can do is, zoom out with the wheel, get closer with asdwzx keys, and then zoom in with the wheel for fine control.

Also try the "reset focus" button in the UI grey bar.
