Question Why do some authors' characters have persistent initial poses that can't be cleared?

For example, Qiaqia's character has fingers that curl up, and even after clearing all poses, the issue remains. The only solution is to set the hand clenched pose to a negative value to offset it. Could this be caused by a "deformation virus"? How can this problem be resolved?

Are there any method I can use to solve it? It really troubles me!
Not really. If it is a merged morph, you can't un-merge it. Try setting the model into the default pose, like above, then look for the character's own morph dial, There may be one for the body and one for the head, or one morph for the whole thing. In the default pose, if you move the slider for the main body morph back and forth from 0 to 1, or wherever the author had it, and you see the hands open and close, then it's in the merged morph and there's no way for you to fix it.
If you're resetting the pose, it means the morph used is not a pose but a standard morph (which is a mistake from the author).

This is usually caused by the author not merging morphs properly. If they include pose morphs in the character morph when merging, this can happen. The creator of the character should be asked to fix it. It makes the character almost unusable.
