VaM 1.x VR Targets in Play Mode

When in VR and I've used Embody sometimes I want to be able to make a small adjustment to a person. If I am in Play mode, putting my thumb onto the A/B buttons will make the laser show up, but targeting something becomes an issue since it doesn't show what you are grabbing. That's fine when their hand is away from other things, but when its near stuff you then don't know what you're grabbing. Is there a way to have the little green line that leads to the targeted control show up along with the laser when your finger touches the A/B buttons without having to go into Edit mode? Thanks.
